The Blackberry curve is an entry level mobile phone that was introduced by Research in Motion in 2007. Throughout the years, several models of the Curve have been released. It has been warmly received by various markets across the US, Europe and Asia. One of its latter offerings is the Curve 3G 9300 with the added 3G capability and upgrade feature to Blackberry 6. If you have an old Curve model or even a new one, you might have thought of moving from one carrier to another especially with the latter models that offer 3G. If you want to unlock your Blackberry Curve all by yourself, it can be quite complicated especially if you are the type who does not really like to go over the technical details. To unlock the Curve, go to SETTINGS MENU. Head to OPTIONS. Click on ADVANCED OPTIONS then the SIM CARD. Using your keyboard, type MEPD. At this point, you will be typing blankly on the screen. After that, type MEP and hit ALT+2. Again, you cannot see these words and numbers you are typing. The screen will prompt you to enter the MEP code. Type your unlock code and then confirm. Afterwards, the Blackberry Curve should already have been unlocked.
